Our friends at Girlfriends on Main, together with The Center, Life in Balance, are hosting an incredible holiday shopping extravaganza this Wednesday at Braddock’s Tavern on South Main Street. The event has two parts: a ticketed dinner and fashion show from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. followed by a holiday shopping event that’s open to the public (and free) from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.
Starting with a delicious dinner from the chefs at Braddock’s Tavern, ticket holders for the fashion show will be able to check out the latest fashions from Girlfriends on Main, featuring Herkimer Diamond jewelry from The Center, Life in Balance & Zen Den. After the show concludes, attendees will get early access to local artists showcasing their latest creations for the holiday shopping event.
Later, when the doors open to the public, visitors will find a wide selection of local artists and merchants with unique ideas for your holiday gift-giving, decorating, or even something for themselves as they browse and shop. Braddock’s Tavern will have refreshments available within their bar, and as we share this event, we’d be wrong not to recommend enjoying some of their culinary delights (and cocktails) for anyone who missed the fashion show dinner earlier in the evening.
If you plan to attend, Braddock’s Tavern (and the Jingle & Mingle holiday shopping event) is located at 39 South Main Street, with ample parking accessible off Main Street by turning onto Coates Street next door. Once you’re on Coates Street, the parking lot for Braddock’s Tavern is on your right (and if their parking lot is full, the public parking lot is to your left).
