Our hometown of Medford, New Jersey is filled with unique shops, fantastic eateries, and amazing gems - and together with groups like the Main Street Merchants of Historic Medford Village and businesses like Lower Forge Brewery, our team is devoted to promoting our community and sharing the things that will Make Medford Your Destination.

About Abbie, Our Founder
Abbie Galie founded the Destination Medford social media tourism initiative in 2018 in an effort to showcase all of Medfordโs small businesses, the town in which she lives. She has successfully spearheaded a myriad of promotional events to garner interest and revenue for the small businesses of downtown Medford such as Merry Main Street, Procrastinatorโs Market, The Chocolate Walk, The Dickenโs Festival, and Trick-or-Treat on Main Street to name just a few. Mrs. Galie is a stakeholder on two fronts, both as a resident of Medford but also a proprietor in her family owned business, Lower Forge Brewery, located in downtown Medford. Mrs. Galieโs continued advocacy for small businesses has led to her recognition and appointment to the Medford Economic Development Commission as the former Chairwoman, to the board of the Medford Business Association, as well as to the board of the Main Street Merchants of Historic Medford Village, groups she works closely with in engineering and executing town events. Her devotion to bolstering the โlocalโ movement exceeds beyond her entrepreneurial interests as she is also principal cellist in the South Jersey Pops Orchestra, a community orchestra comprised of professional and volunteer instrumentalists that she has been involved with since 2010.
