Two Great Events! Main Street Block Party & Food Truck Nite!
We’ve got a big week on Main Street! Thursday marks eight years of Third Thursday Food Truck Nights—and the final one of summer. Then Saturday, come back for the Main Street Block Party, now completely FREE, with live music, games, contests, activities and more!
We've got a fun couple of days coming up on Main Street! Kicking off with August's 3rd Thursday Food Trucks! Did you know August 2018 was the first food truck night? That means that this Thursday marks 8 years of food truck third Thursdays - and what amazing fun they've been for the entire community!
When I look back at 2018 in a lot of ways it feels like just yesterday. But I think of all the people we've met, the businesses that have come, gone, sold, expanded etc since then...and I'm just in awe. Main Street continues to grow & evolve.
This Thursday, August 20th is the summer's last food truck night! Next month we'll be back to school, back to the routines, kids sports - and coming after school to food trucks in the brisk fall evenings!

That's not the only fun Main Street's got happening this week! Saturday is Main Street! The Main Street Merchants are hosting their Main Street Block Party this Saturday. An event that was originally ticketed, has now been made free to the public (donations accepted!) thanks to the hardwork of the Main Street businesses!
The Summer Block Party is happening THIS Saturday, August 22, from 1–6 PM—and it is now completely FREE!
There’s something happening all along Main Street:
- Mini golf — 1–4 PM at The Feed Mill, Whole Hog Cafe, Peewee’s Ice Cream and Kings Road Brewing
- Medford’s Got Talent — at the Tomlinson Park gazebo
- Water balloon tosses — 1:30 & 6 PM at Magnify Brewing
- Magician — 2–4 PM at Mill Creek Apiary
- DJ — 4–7 PM at Johnny’s Pies
- Balloon twisting — 1–4 PM at My Town Swag
- Misting tent — 1–4 PM at 1785 FarmDog
- Live band — 3–6 PM at Kings Road Brewing
- Pie-eating contests — 2:30 & 5 PM at Jenni’s Goodies
- Giant Guess Who — 1–6 PM at Lower Forge Brewery
- Karaoke — beginning at 6 PM at Lower Forge Brewery
- Cedar Run animals — 2–5 PM at Aloha Bowls
- Balloon twisting — 1–4 PM at In Dietro Caffè
- Watermelon-passing contest — 4 PM at Grazing Affair
- Temporary tattoos — 1–6 PM at Love Thy Nature Refillery
- Classic car show — 1–6 PM in the parking lot at 21 S. Main Street
- Face painting — 1–4 PM at Bud’s Bagels
- Live acoustic music — 2–4 PM at 1785 FarmDog
- DJ Benny — 2–5 PM at The Well
- Plus games, shopping, food and more throughout downtown!
- Misting Tent - at the Quaker Meeting House (cool down!) All day!
