Fine Art Festival at the Village at Taunton Forge

The first annual Fine Arts & Craft Fair will be in full swing on Saturday, April 26 at the Village at Taunton Forge.

Fine Art Festival at the Village at Taunton Forge

This isn’t just a fair—it’s an experience. One where art is alive, and the people behind the work are right there to share their stories and spark conversations. And it's happening Saturday April 26th in Medford!

“This event is really about creating a space where people connect—not just with the art, but with each other. You don’t have to be an expert to appreciate beauty. You just have to show up, be curious, and let yourself feel something.” - says Lesha Moore, the art festival's organizer.

And she’s right. It’s the kind of day that fills your cup (and probably your trunk, too… because good luck leaving without buying at least one thing you fall in love with). So grab your mom, your bestie, or just take yourself on a little solo art date. Stop by Illiano Cucina for lunch (BYOB, bless), or snack your way through the day with food from the nearby spots. Wear your comfy shoes and plan to stay a while—you never know what or who you’ll discover!

Art Goes to Town returns on Saturday, April 26th, from 10 AM to 4 PM. The Village at Taunton Forge will once again be transformed into an open-air gallery-meets-performance space, brimming with color, creativity, and community.

The Annual Juried Fine Arts & Craft Fair, curated by the ever-magical Lesha Moore of Art Goes to Town and ELM Gallery, is back—and dare I say, this year’s lineup is not going to disappoint. For those of us who cherish quality craftsmanship, soulful art, and the joy of discovering new local makers, this event is an absolute must-see. The artists who participate aren’t just “vendors”—they’re creators, makers, storytellers, and in many cases, neighbors.

You’ll find them in the breezy parking lot of the Village at Taunton Forge—nestled between stores like Dory’s Mediterranean Goods and restaurants like Illiano Cucina (Illiano's will have some lunch specials going for just $15!) and Tacos El Tio—with artisans' handmade works on full display, ready to be admired, collected, and loved.

A particularly meaningful addition this year is the Artist Showcase from the Military Artists Community—featuring beautiful and heartfelt work from veterans in Lesha’s Veterans Art Class. Artists Jay Howard, Jack Wolynies, Donna Molocznik, and Joey Harness will share their creativity with attendees in a way that’s deeply moving and reminds us that art truly is for everyone—and healing in more ways than one.

And yes—there will be live performances again this year, weaving music and poetry through the village air like threads of gold:

  • 11:00 AM – Sophia Westfall and Friends from The Secret Society of Poetry
  • 12:00 PMThe Broadway Bound Players
  • 1:00 PM – Music with Mary Beth Johns
  • 2:30 PM – Musical performance by artist Steve Kuzma

The Art Goes to Town Annual Juried Fine Arts & Craft Fair is free to attend and full of heart. Be sure to say hi if you stop by! Hope to see your beautiful face.
