Find out what goes bump in the night on Medford's Historic Main Street. When he lively chatter of shops and restaurants quiets, and the spirits of Medford’s past begin to stir. Though many of the storefronts you see today are only a few years old, the bones of these buildings date back to the 1800s—some even earlier—when Medford first grew from farmland and sawmills into a bustling village.
Founded in 1847, Medford’s Main Street has long been the heart of the town. Its brick walls, timber beams, and creaking floors have borne witness to over a century of lives lived—merchants and shopkeepers, farmers and families, neighbors and strangers. Some of these voices faded with time… while others may still linger & whisper in our ears in the quiet moment.

On November 7 & 8, you’re invited to step into the shadows during Medford’s 7th Annual Ghost Walk. This is no ordinary stroll—it’s a rare chance to enter historic buildings after dark, where the line between past and present blurs. Inside each haunted location, a psychic medium and ghost-hunting equipment from Main Street's own Center for Living, will reveal the energies and spirits that remain. These mediums spend time in the buildings beforehand, becoming acquainted with the personalities who linger, so when you enter—you’ll get to communicate with them too.

⚠️ Note: Due to the nature of the historic building, this tour includes stairs and is unfortunately not handicap accessible. This tour is also recommended for adults, but 12+ are welcome at parents discretion. Under 18 must have an adult with them.
