This Wednesday, July 15, from 6-9pm Freedom Park will be filled with live music, local vendors, delicious food, community organizations, and plenty of reasons to spend a summer evening outdoors as Medford celebrates its very first Pride Festival.
Whether you're a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, an ally, or simply looking for something fun to do on a Wednesday night, organizers hope you'll come out and be part of what they hope becomes a new Medford tradition. After all, you only get one first! "Wasn't Pride Month in June?" I keep hearing that! Yes, it was! But it doesn't mean we can't have pride any day of the year, and, June was jam packed with Pride events, this is the date that worked for our volunteers! "Because we should be kind and have fun every day, all year, for everyone; but that's just me." says Pola Galie, event chair person.
They'll be selling these incredible tees- proceeds fund the event & future events!
